Attend IAPCON 2027 with IAPC Support

Apply for the Conference Participation Grant Supporting Early-Career Professionals to Participate in IAPCON 2027

The Indian Association of Palliative Care is pleased to invite applications for the IAPC Conference Participation Grant 2027.

The objective of this grant is to encourage and support promising early-career professionals working in palliative care, particularly those serving in rural, remote, and resource-constrained settings, by facilitating their participation in the 34th International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2027, Bhubaneswar).

A total of 20 Conference Participation Grants, each of up to ₹25,000, will be awarded.

The grant is intended to partially support expenses incurred towards:

  • Conference registration
  • Travel
  • Accommodation

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should fulfil the following criteria:

  • Be a current member of the Indian Association of Palliative Care.
  • Be an early-career palliative care professional with less than 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Be actively working in a rural, remote, or resource-constrained setting.
  • Acceptance of an oral or poster presentation at IAPCON 2027 – this will be considered as an added advantage.

Grant Value

Each selected applicant will be eligible to receive reimbursement of up to ₹25,000, towards eligible expenses related to participation in IAPCON 2027.

Application Process

Interested candidates are requested to complete the online application form and upload the following documents:

  • Applicant must be an Indian Citizen by birth.
  • Proof of Identity (Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, or any Government-issued identity document)
  • Reference letter from the Head of the Institution/Organisation or an IAPC member
  • Updated CV (maximum one page; not exceeding 500 words)

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the designated IAPC Grant Review Committee.

Only selected applicants will be informed through email.

Reimbursement Process

The Conference Participation Grant will be disbursed after successful participation in IAPCON 2027, subject to submission of the following documents:

  1. Certificate of participation in IAPCON 2027
  2. Receipt of conference registration fees
  3. A brief report (approximately 500 words) describing key learnings from the conference and their expected impact on professional practice, accompanied by relevant photographs
  4. Bank account details for electronic transfer of funds:
    • Name of Account Holder
    • Bank Name
    • Branch Name
    • Account Number
    • IFSC Code
    • Complete Bank Address with PIN Code

Grant reimbursement will be processed during the second week of March 2027, subject to receipt and verification of all required documents.

IAPCON 2027

The 34th Annual International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2027) is scheduled to be held at Convention Complex, SOA University, Bhubaneswar from 19-21 February, 2027.
